Many thanks for the information about the forthcoming expedition to St Martin's Island, AS-127. The S2 prefix is all too rare on the bands and it is very pleasing to see that the IOTA expedition will be undertaken by local operators. Your web site looks very professional and you will no doubt find is a great help in inspiring the radio community

The South East Asia Amateur Radio Network (SEANET) was established in 1964 on 20m (14.320 MHz plus or minus QRM).
The objective of this Net is to promote international understanding and fellowship among hams and to relay emergency, medical, urgent or priority traffic.
This on-the-air meeting which has taken place without fail daily at 1200 UTC has strengthened unity and co-operation among Hams around the world, especially those within the region.

I hope u r watching the Ike path.
Its hit point is Galveston near Huston, I'm located about 150 mile north from Galveston. We are expecting about 60/70 mile wind at Saturday late night at my QTH.S21B ' harmonic Farhad ( S21G ) just bought a house last month in Huston about 25/30 mile north-west from Galveston. Farhad is now at London for an official tour and his flight schedule tomorrow, don't think his flight will come at this weather, so he seems stuck. And nobody can watch his home.

Today with great pain and sorrow we remember the loss we suffered one year ago, on 10Th September 2007. In that day Abdur Rashid, our beloved friend and mentor left us behind. He was a great man; he was loved by both the families and the communities. His contribution to the amateur radio world can not be measured. He was the most known Bangladeshi DXer around the globe. He holds a lifetime membership of Bangladesh Amateur Radio Leagues.
