Our beloved friend Hemayet, S21DM is a Silent Key now. We will not hear “cq cq cq… this is sierra twenty one delta mike” anymore in the HF band.
Hemayet was a very good friend of us with endless love for his hobby of Amateur Radio. He was not only mentioned in the country but also abroad for his enthusiasm for Dxing. He was one of the few hams who are renowned for their HF dxing from this rare country.
Hemayet suffered a brain stroke last week and being hospitalized immediately, at a later stage due to various complicacy doctor failed to operate him. He left us forever at 1920 local time 22th April 2010. May almighty rest his soul in peace and give his family the strength and courage to bare this.
S21DM was a member of S2DX (www.s2dx.org) team and supporter of 2009 S21DX AS-127 IOTA.
